Given growing demand amid increasing security concerns, Galland Laurentides
applies stringent measures aimed at ensuring the safety of children travelling
on their own:
|
| |
The company accepts unaccompanied children
only on direct routes. Destinations that require transfers either to its
own vehicles or to other transporters are therefore impossible.
|
| |
This service is designed for a child being
over age 8 and younger than age 12.
|
| |
The child cannot travel unless one of his
parents or his/her guardian completes and signs a form specifying the departure
and arrival points.*
|
| |
That person must remain with the child
until boarding time.
|
| |
Once the child is aboard, the driver assumes
responsibility. He/she assigns a seat within his/her field of vision and
ensures the childs well-being throughout.
|
| |
The child leaves the bus only at the destination
specified on the form. Moreover, the child must disembark at an open
agency.
|
| |
On arrival, the child is turned over to
one of his parents or his/her guardian. Should that person be late, the
child is left with a security guard or the companys local representative.
|
| |
* You can get
the form from one of our authorised agencies.
